| Optimize your time at the Annual Meeting with the Annual Meeting Portal |
| Some tips to begin getting oriented include bookmarking the Annual Meeting Portal, and then reviewing the schedule, filtering by track, presenter and session type. Other features include viewing posters and abstracts (once the embargo lifts on Friday, September 26) and searching exhibitors by name or product/service. The portal also has information on exhibitor events, convention center maps, the shuttle tracker and ASTRO’s social media channels, and you will be able to evaluate the meeting and claim credits on sessions you attend. |

ASTRO recently welcomed Karen Davis as its first Vice President of Business Development and Marketing. In this newly created role, Davis will lead ASTRO’s business growth strategy and cultivate public- and private-sector partnerships to advance the Society’s mission and broaden its impact on cancer care. “Karen’s proven record of building high-impact partnerships and mobilizing resources for mission-driven organizations will help ASTRO accelerate initiatives that improve care for patients with cancer worldwide,” said ASTRO CEO Vivek S. Kavadi, MD, MBA, FASTRO. “Her appointment also marks a strategic step for the Society, as we expand our executive leadership and invest in new capabilities to position ASTRO for sustainable long-term growth.” |
