ASTRO INTERNATIONAL MEMBERSHIP

The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) is the premier society for radiation oncology professionals worldwide. ASTRO’s more than 10,500 members represent the entire radiation oncology team and spans 107 countries. Members include Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Cancer Biologists and Residents, as well as, non-physician clinical health care specialists or other individuals who work in a clinical health care environment, e.g., Medical Physicists, Cancer Biologists, Dosimetrists, Radiation Therapists, Radiation Oncology Nurses, Physician Assistants and Practice Administrators. 

ASTRO’s International Committee has more than 100 members who meet regularly to discuss how ASTRO can better serve the needs of international members and patients. Their mission is to advance the practice of radiation oncology globally through international collaboration, enhancing education and implementing sustainable cost-effective strategies.
