Governance

The property and affairs of the Society are managed by or under the direction of the Board of Directors. The Board is composed of 17 members: Chair of the Board, President, President-elect, Secretary/Treasurer, Immediate Past Chair of the Board, Chair and Vice-chair of the Clinical Affairs and Quality Council, Chair and Vice-chair of the Education Council, Chair and Vice-chair of the Government Relations Council, Chair and Vice-chair of the Health Policy Council, Chair and Vice-chair of the HEDI Council and Chair and Vice-chair of the Science Council.
 

COI Policies

As a society of professionals, ASTRO seeks to maintain the undisputed primacy of certain ethical interests.

Elections

ASTRO's 2026 official elections are now open. Voting began at 12:00 p.m. Eastern time on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, and will remain open until 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, July 24, 2026. 

Code of Ethics

The ASTRO Code of Ethics strives to set standards and provide guidance for ASTRO members as they participate in the Society, in their clinical practice, in their academic, educational and research activities, and in their provision of healthcare generally.
