ASTRO's Board of Directors is pleased to announce the slate approved by the Nominating Committee for positions to be filled for the 2025-2026 Society year. Additional nominations for open seats may be made by a member with at least 120 supporting signatures of members entitled to vote and must be received by May 30. More organizations endorse ROCR Act in April |
April saw another big boost in support for the ROCR Act, with 13 organizations signing on in support of the legislation to stabilize Medicare payments for radiation therapy, including leading freestanding centers, hospital systems and manufacturers. NRC issues interim T&E guidance |
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued a final version of its Interim Staff Guidance (ISG) for Implementation of 10 CFR Part 35 Training and Experience Requirements. The guidance is meant to help licensees comply with the regulations; it does not change the regulations. For more information, see What’s Happening in Washington. |
