ASTRO 2026: What’s New This Year

I’m thrilled to share details on some of the new events and workshops at this year’s 2026 ASTRO Annual Meeting in Boston, September 26-30. Each year, our Annual Meeting gives the radiation oncology community a unique opportunity to step away from our daily routines and come together to learn, exchange ideas and reconnect with colleagues who share our commitment to advancing patient care. This year’s meeting is especially exciting, with new programming designed to spotlight emerging science, practical innovation and the conversations shaping the future of our field.

To start, on Saturday, we have a series of new, expanded workshops with unique focus areas:

On Monday, we are featuring a high-visibility Presidential Science Poster Session Showcase experience that will take place in conjunction with the Exhibit Hall Networking Reception. Join us and interact with expert faculty as they present our top-rated translational science posters from across disease sites and disciplines.

And the energy carries over into fun! We are launching two new social events: ASTRO is hosting our first-ever Welcome Kickoff on Saturday evening at the iconic Citizens House of Blues Boston! Your ticket includes a night of dancing, live music, plentiful food, and two drink tickets. And, we have a premier black-tie event on Tuesday night — our inaugural ASTRO Gold Medal Gala, sure to be an unforgettable evening honoring the lifetime achievements of this year’s Gold Medal recipients and the debut of the ASTRO Corporate Partnership Award.

Make your plans now and register for ASTRO 2026! Register before June 25 for the best rates. See you in Boston!
