Continuing Certification (MOC)

The American Board of Radiology's Continuing Certification (MOC) process is designed to facilitate and document the professional development of each diplomate through its focus on the essential elements of quality care. ASTRO offers numerous opportunities for physicians and physicists to satisfy their Continuing Certification requirements through in-person meetings and online educational offerings. CME is an educational tool designed to help keep physicians current with new technology and scientific advances and to continue efforts to increase accessibility to evolving evidence-based medicine.
Self-Assessment CMEs are educational activities that utilize instruction and self-administered examination to improve skills, knowledge, patient care and/or practice performance.


Participants of ASTRO's in-person meetings, online courses and webinars can easily transfer their CME and SA-CME credits from ASTRO to the ABR.
