SA-CME

What is Self-Assessment CME (SA-CME)?

Self-Assessment CMEs are educational activities that utilize instruction and self-administered examination to improve skills, knowledge, patient care and/or practice performance. SA-CME meets part of the Lifelong Learning requirement of the ABR's MOC Program.

What is Continuing Medical Education (CME)?

CME is an educational tool designed to help keep physicians current with new technology and scientific advances and to continue efforts to increase accessibility to evolving evidence-based medicine. CME meet part of the Lifelong Learning requirement of Component of MOC.

  • ASTRO offers more than 50 online SA-CMEs in a variety of specialty areas.
  • The amount of CME and SA-CME credit varies based on course length.

Live Meetings

  • Meeting attendees must complete the event evaluation to earn credit.

Journal SA-CME

  • Offered for select articles from PRO and the Red Journal.
  • 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ is available for each course along with SA-CME.
