Confused by the new Authorized User status changes??
ASTRO has created a new page reviewing AU status and how to obtain it as a resident. You can either become an AU under the license of your training program, which will then streamline adding you as an AU at subsequent programs/institutions in your career. Your training program can also fill out NRC forms upon graduation addressing requirements. The ARRO Communications team will be sharing resources this month on X and Instagram reviewing changes. View the PowerPoint with further information and direction on how to fill out the NRC forms.
And more education @ The Resource Corner!

There have been several updates to the literature since our 2013 cervical cancer ARROCase and this provides a nice current study resource for residents. If you’re interested in contributing an ARROcase, please let our ARROCase leads know, Allison Matous, MD, and Fara Dayani Dardashtii, MD, MAS.
ARROAnki, say what?
Did you use Anki in medical school and wish there were decks you could use to study radiation oncology? Well, you’re in luck as members of ARRO Education Subcommittee have been working hard to put together a number of decks as another medium to provide for residents interested in electronic spaced-repetition learning. Ten decks have been released on www.ankiweb.net which can be found by searching the term ARROAnki_* (e.g., ARROAnki_Heme). We are in the process of uploading this to our website. Note that these were not vetted by faculty, so if you notice inaccuracies or mistakes, please let us know either through www.ankiweb.net, emailing us or via social media. Happy studying!
