ASTRO joins over 70 organizations in support of clinical trial modernization bill
ASTRO recently signed onto a letter alongside 73 organizations expressing support for the bipartisan Clinical Trial Modernization Act (H.R.8412). The bill would make it easier for underserved populations to participate in clinical trials by allowing sponsors to financially support trial participants, facilitating remote participation, and giving HHS further grantmaking authority.
