| ARRO Executive Committee nominations due February 13! |

| ARRO is now accepting nominations for the 2026-2028 ARRO Executive Committee! Current PGY-2 and PGY-3 residents are eligible for a two-year, nationally elected appointment beginning in April 2026. Nominations must be submitted via email to ARRO by Friday, February 13. You may nominate yourself.
Nominations should include a current CV, a statement identifying the one subcommittee to which the nominee is applying to lead (Education, Communications and Advocacy, Global Health, or Health Care Access and Advancement) along with their vision and ideas for ARRO (one-page maximum), and a letter of good standing from the nominee’s residency program director. These application materials will be posted on the ARRO website for the duration of the elections, which will run from February 23 to March 6. Residents training at the same institutions as current Junior Executive Committee members are not eligible for nomination.* We strongly encourage residents from smaller programs to run for an executive position. Please submit your nomination and send any questions via email to ARRO by February 13, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Pacific time. *Eligibility: All PGY-2s and PGY-3s are eligible except for those from institutions that currently have a resident serving on ARRO as a Junior Executive Member (University of North Carolina, University of Miami, Ohio State University, Washington University in St. Louis). |
| Upcoming ASTRO grant funding opportunities |
| Residents are invited to apply for several ASTRO grant funding opportunities for 2026. These awards, many of which are offered in collaboration with other organizations, range from $50,000 to $225,000 over one to three years. Deadlines are as early as January 12, 2026, and extend to March 2026. Learn more! |

The ASTRO Advocacy Team invites you to join them in Washington, DC, on April 27 and 28, 2026, for a look into Congress and the policy issues that affect you and your patients. Residents and nurses interested in attending Advocacy Day are encouraged to apply for an Emerging Advocacy Grassroots Leadership (EAGL) Award which will provide applicants a $400 grant to offset the costs of attendance. Applications are due February 13. Review instructions on how to apply and additional details. |
