ASTRO publishes updated guideline on radiation therapy for localized prostate cancer
ASTRO’s updated guideline recommends moderate hypofractionation over conventional fractionation for patients across all risk groups. SBRT is now strongly recommended for patients with intermediate-risk disease and those with low-risk disease who decline active surveillance, a change from the conditional recommendation in 2018.

See ASTRO’s news release for a detailed summary and read the guideline in Practical Radiation Oncology.
