Introducing the #ASTRO25 Social Champions
The #ASTRO25 Social Champions serve as Annual Meeting ambassadors on X and other social channels during the conference. They will share important science and topics of interest throughout the meeting. We also welcome representatives from theMedNet, who will highlight science presented at the meeting. Follow ASTRO and our Social Champions on X to see highlights of the Annual Meeting and use the hashtag #ASTRO25 to join the discussions. Meet our 2025 Social Champions!

This year’s Annual Meeting experience offers something for everyone including curated programming, dedicated spaces and many activities that foster collaboration, connection and professional growth. Check out the programming for these Interest Groups: ARRO, Early Career, Health Care Access and Engagement, International and Medical Students. And if you haven’t registered yet for the ASTRO Annual Meeting, there’s still time! Joint meeting of Health Policy and Government Relations Councils open to ASTRO members
All ASTRO members are invited to attend the joint meeting of ASTRO’s Health Policy and Government Relations Councils Saturday, September 27, from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Pacific time at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis in Salons 5-6. This meeting will feature a recap of key policy initiatives in 2025, preview the advocacy agenda for 2026, and provide opportunities to take real time action on priorities and network with colleagues.
 
Journal Editors Ask Me Anything at ASTRO25
Join the three ASTRO Editors-in-Chief, Sue Yom, MD, PhD, FASTRO; Robert Amdur, MD; and Rachel Jimenez, MD, for an “Ask Me Anything” session in San Francisco! The editors will meet with attendees Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Pacific time in the Early Career Lounge, North Lobby.

Follow theMedNet for discussions on top science from ASTRO 2025
theMednet, a platform for physicians to discuss clinical questions with physician experts, will host post-session discussions for 12 studies presented in the Plenary and Clinical Trials sessions at ASTRO. After each presentation, you can visit theMednet to ask follow-up questions, read expert commentary, and see how peers are interpreting the findings for clinical practice. Each discussion will be organized by study, allowing you to revisit key points and stay updated as new perspectives are shared. Join the conversation after select sessions at themednet.org.
 
Congratulations to the 2025 ASTRO-BCRF Annual Meeting Trainee Travel Award Recipients!
We are pleased to announce the selection of ten recipients for the 2025 ASTRO-BCRF Trainee Travel Awards. ASTRO attends largest-ever Rally for Medical Research

On September 17-18, ASTRO joined organizations from across the research community for the 13th annual Rally for Medical Research. Registration for the 2025 ASTRO Coding and Coverage Seminar opens this Friday, September 26! With major anticipated changes to the radiation treatment delivery code set, you will not want to miss this chance to prepare your practice for new billing guidelines going into 2026.
