On September 17-18, ASTRO joined organizations from across the research community for the 13th annual Rally for Medical Research. The largest in the event's history, rallygoers advocated on Capitol Hill for robust federal investment in medical research. Specific requests were to fund the National Institutes of Health (NIH) at $51.3 billion for FY26 and for Congress to ensure the release of the nearly $8 billion FY25 funding that has yet to be obligated. ASTRO once again served as a Silver Supporter for the event.
