ASTRO will host a Town Hall August 6, from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Eastern time to review and garner feedback on major changes coming for radiation therapy coding and Medicare reimbursement. ASTRO’s analysis reveals CMS should change its plans for assigning revised treatment delivery and image guidance codes to lower-level hospital payment groups, as well as revamp a proposal that would cut radiation oncology physician work reimbursement by 3%. ASTRO physician leaders met with CMS last week on these issues and to discuss ROCR. They will discuss these issues and more, including the latest on the ROCR Act, during the Town Hall, so register today!
