2024 MSF awardees, eContouring for GI webinar, ASTRO-BCRF RO Visiting Away Rotations

May 8, 2024

Congratulations to the 2024 ASTRO Medical Student Fellowship awardees and mentors!
We are pleased to announce the 10 recipients of this year's Medical Student Fellowship (MSF) awards. The MSF award provides financial support to promising medical students who are from populations underrepresented in medicine to introduce them to the discipline of radiation oncology. Each awardee spends eight to 10 weeks during the summer recess studying clinical, basic and translational radiation oncology research questions and learning new techniques in the labs of ASTRO mentors. Additionally, awardees receive a travel stipend to attend the ASTRO Annual Meeting.

Mentors of awardees receive the ASTRO-BCRF Medical Student Fellowship: Mentor Award, which recognizes their dedication to supporting the education and training of early career physicians and scientists. For more, visit the ASTRO Medical Student Fellowship program site.
