ASTRO continues to monitor the cyberattack on Change Healthcare, a business unit of Optum owned by the United Health Group (UHG). CMS has released a statement regarding the process for requesting accelerated or advance payments for Medicare Part B suppliers experiencing disruptions due to the cyberattack which has crippled claims processing. ASTRO seeks comments on a systematic review to inform a new guideline on anal cancer |
The Evidence-based Practice Center (EPC) Program at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has posted the draft report for a systematic review on Treatment of Stages I-III Squamous Cell Anal Cancer. The purpose of this review is to evaluate the comparative effectiveness and harms of strategies for initial treatment and post-treatment surveillance for stages I-III squamous cell carcinoma of the anus. Your feedback on this draft report will help improve the relevance of the review, which will be used as the foundation for developing ASTRO's anal cancer guideline. The draft report is available until April 11 at the Effective Healthcare website. We welcome your feedback! |
