Host a member of Congress at your clinic | |
ASTRO is encouraging our U.S. members to help build momentum for ASTRO’s legislative priorities by inviting your representative and senators on a tour of your practice during Congress’ annual August recess. A site tour is one of the most effective ways to generate congressional support, as it gives members of Congress a firsthand look at how their decisions affect the way in which health care is delivered to constituents. Learn more about what it takes to host a tour from radiation oncologists Ben Wilkinson, MD, and Lauran Tait, MD, who hosted U.S. Congressman Jimmy Panetta (D-CA), a cosponsor of the ROCR Act, for a tour earlier this year. |
