| Radiation and Cancer Biology Study Guides |
| Earlier this year, ASTRO launched the Radiation and Cancer Biology Study Guide 2026, a new, comprehensive web‑based resource designed to strengthen foundational knowledge in radiobiology. This updated guide includes 32 topic chapters with multiple‑choice questions to support active learning and preparation for the ABR Radiation and Cancer Biology written exam. The guide is available to members for $25.
During the rollout of this new resource, the previous free PDF versions of the Radiation and Cancer Biology study guides were unintentionally removed from ARRO’s website. We recognize that this caused confusion and frustration, and we appreciate the feedback we received from the resident community. We will endeavor to maintain effective ASTRO to ARRO communications to prevent these situations in the future. ASTRO and ARRO leadership reviewed options to ensure residents continue to have access to study resources. As a result, the two most recent PDF study guides have been restored and will remain available through December 31, 2026. They can be found under Board Certification on ARRO's website. Beginning January 1, 2027, the PDF versions will be retired, with the Radiation and Cancer Biology Study Guide 2026 serving as the primary study resource option moving forward. Thank you for your patience and for sharing your perspectives as we work to balance expanded educational offerings with continued access to trusted resources. |
