Mentor Connect

Whether you’re just beginning your journey and seeking direction or you’ve built a career and are ready to give back, ASTRO’s Mentor Connect brings professionals together to learn, grow and inspire one another. This is a space where learning, guidance and meaningful connections come together to shape the future of radiation oncology.

Why Mentorship Matters

Mentorship is at the heart of professional growth. Through Mentor Connect, students, residents, early career professionals and experienced mentors can share insights and build relationships that extend well beyond a single conversation.

As a mentee, you can explore topics such as:

  • Choosing a career path in radiation oncology
  • What to expect during residency
  • Developing leadership and communication skills
  • Finding work-life balance
  • Navigating the match process
  • Applying for grants and professional opportunities

As a mentor, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Share your professional journey and lessons learned
  • Support and encourage the next generation
  • Build meaningful, lasting professional connections
  • Gain fresh perspectives from emerging professionals

Every mentoring relationship is unique — and that’s what makes it meaningful. On this platform, together, mentors and mentees can set goals, exchange ideas and find direction that aligns with where they are today and where they hope to go.
