Meet ARRO’s 2026 Resident Educators of the Year!
ARRO is proud to recognize this year’s Resident Educator of the Year Award recipients, Zoe Cosner, MD, and Christina Huang, MD, MS. Through their commitment to teaching, leadership and support of fellow trainees, Drs. Huang and Cosner have made a meaningful impact on their residency programs and the broader radiation oncology community. Their passion for education and willingness to invest in others embody the spirit of this award and the future of academic mentorship in our field. Congratulations to both recipients on this well-deserved recognition!
 
Submit your application for the ARRO 2026 Health Care Access Publication Award
ARRO is excited to announce the Health Care Access Publication Award in partnership with the Speed of Light – The ASTRO Foundation, to recognize trainee investigators who have recently published on topics related to health care access. Submissions are due July 7, and applicants must either be first or last in the list of authors of the manuscript, and a resident or medical student during the 2025-2026 academic calendar year. Global Health Scholars Grant Applications are EXTENDED!
Applications for the 2026 Global Health Scholars Grant are currently being accepted, with the deadline extended to Sunday, June 14, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time. Individuals interested in pursuing a global health rotation are encouraged to apply for a $2,500 travel grant to help support the costs associated with their experience.

In addition to the application, applicants must include a letter of support from their program director, a letter of support from the host institution, a personal statement and a project description. If you have any questions, please reach out to Global Health Subcommittee co-chairs Tugce Kutuk, MD, or Ahmed Nawwar, MD, for more information.
