Radiation Oncology and Immunotherapy Primer

Combining multiple cancer treatments can lead to better long-term outcomes for patients, and combination therapies have been the subject of countless clinical trials in the past several decades. The combination of radiotherapy with immunotherapy treatments has recently shown great promise for effective treatment of multiple cancer types. We present here a primer on the interactions between radiotherapy and immunotherapy from the bench to the clinic.
