Momentum for Advocacy Day 2026 is growing thanks to the addition of four bipartisan ROCR Act cosponsors. On the Republican side, ASTRO and its members secured the support of Representatives August Pfluger (R-TX) and Jen Kiggans (R-VA). Congressman Pfluger is a member of the key House Energy and Commerce Committee and serves as Chair of the Republican Study Committee, the largest caucus within the House Republican Conference. Representatives Don Davis (D-NC) and James Walkinshaw (D-VA) also agreed to cosponsor ROCR. Congressman Walkinshaw's cosponsorship followed a recent clinic tour with ASTRO Government Relations Committee Vice Chair Gopal Bajaj, MD, MBA, FASTRO, at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute.
