Prior Authorization Reform passes key subcommittee

On June 25, the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health advanced the Improving Seniors’ Timely Access to Care Act, moving the bipartisan legislation one step closer to full committee consideration and a vote on the House floor. With 295 House cosponsors and 71 Senate cosponsors, the Seniors’ Act aims to reduce delays associated with prior authorization in Medicare Advantage, helping ensure that seniors receive timely access to medically necessary care.
