ASTRO honors Siemens Healthineers with inaugural Corporate Partner Award

The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) has named Siemens Healthineers the inaugural recipient of its Corporate Partner Award, a new recognition honoring an organization whose extraordinary commitment, generosity and collaboration have made a lasting impact on the field of radiation oncology and patients worldwide.

The award will be presented this morning during an awards ceremony at the 2026 ASTRO Annual Meeting in Boston. Siemens Healthineers will also be recognized this evening during the first ASTRO Gold Medal Gala, which honors leaders and partners across the radiation oncology community while raising funds to advance radiation medicine research through Speed of Light – The ASTRO Foundation.

Siemens Healthineers, through Varian, is one of ASTRO’s longest-standing corporate members. A pioneer in radiation oncology technology, the company has contributed to advances that shaped modern radiation therapy and continue to influence how treatment is planned and delivered today. Its partnership with ASTRO has also sustained research and workforce development across the career pipeline, including support for industry-based clinical research fellowships for resident physicians and ASTRO’s Medical Student Fellowship Awards, which provide medical students with mentored research experiences in radiation medicine.
