Dr. Sandler is Immediate Past Chair of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Board of Directors, as well as Chair of the Department of Radiation Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland.
Dr. Sandler specializes in treating patients with prostate and other genitourinary cancers and has significant experience leading landmark clinical trials that have shaped modern radiation approaches to these diseases. He is also a longtime advocate for policies that support high-quality, value-based cancer care and expand access to life-saving radiation treatments.
