Ana Ponce Kiess
Radiopharmaceutical Task Force Chair
Ana Ponce Kiess, MD, PhD, is a radiation oncologist and Chair of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Task Force. She is an associate professor of radiation oncology and molecular radiation sciences at Johns Hopkins University, where she specializes in treating patients with prostate or head and neck cancers, and she is a leading expert in radiopharmaceutical therapy (RPT).
Dr. Kiess led development of ASTRO guidance on training for RPT and played a key role in developing ASTRO’s new Multidisciplinary RPT Symposium. She is widely recognized for her expertise in integrating radiopharmaceutical therapy with external-beam radiation.
