Amar U. Kishan, MD, is a radiation oncologist specializing in prostate and other genitourinary cancers and Chair of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Prostate/GU Resource Panel. He is a professor of radiation oncology at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, where he also serves as the department’s Executive Vice Chair and Genitourinary Oncology Service Chief.
Dr. Kishan’s research focuses on emerging treatments such as radiopharmaceutical therapy and MR-guided stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). His work in clinical trials and translational research helps inform evolving best practices in prostate cancer care.
