Bylaws changes proposed, Important dates for ASTRO 2026, ROI Innovation Awards

October 22, 2025

Action needed: ASTRO’s ballot now open for voting on bylaws changes
Voting is now open on changes to the existing ASTRO bylaws, as presented at ASTRO’s Annual Business Meeting, September 30, 2025, in San Francisco. Changes include:
  • Updating the Bylaws “Amendment Procedure” process to de-couple it from the Annual Business Meeting so that changes can happen in a more timely manner as needed, while still providing adequate notice and information.
  • Updating the ASTRO Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Council (HEDI) name in response to recent Executive Orders and broader ASTRO strategic alignment. This Amendment was approved by the HEDI Council leadership. The updated name would be “Health Care Access and Community Engagement Council” (HACE).
Voting will be open from today, Wednesday, October 22, until 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, November 21. View the revised bylaws and access the ballot at www.astro.org/vote. The ballot and instructions will appear once you log in with your email address and password. If you need assistance with your login information, please email Membership.
