Celebrating Dosimetrists, #ASTRO25 Clinical Trials & Plenary sessions, New courses on ASTRO Academy
August 20, 2025
Today is National Medical Dosimetrist Day |
In recognition of this day, we celebrate the contributions of dosimetrists and their important role on the radiation oncology clinical team. Take this opportunity to thank and celebrate your dosimetry colleagues! In honor of the day and to highlight patient safety efforts, RO-ILS has de-identified a “great catch” event in which a covering dosimetrist identified an underdosed area of the target.
Also, RO-ILS is hosting a Patient Safety Conversation Hour on World Patient Safety Day, September 17. Register to attend this interactive, educational forum open to all clinical staff. |
