A recording of the ASTRO Medicare Town Hall: Major Changes Arriving from August 6 is now available. Glean insights from ASTRO’s Health Policy and Government Relations physician leaders’ detailed review of the critical coding and payment changes facing radiation oncology in 2026, and learn about ASTRO’s regulatory and legislative advocacy to achieve payment stability. Private rooms to conduct employment interviews during the ASTRO Annual Meeting are available. Interview rooms are available for rent, for three-hour periods of time, Saturday, September 27, through Wednesday, October 1. Rooms are limited; please contact Todd Karstaedt for more information, availability, and to reserve a private interview room. Be sure to post your job openings on the ASTRO Career Center and register for the ASTRO Career Fair.

Red Journal Call for Papers: The Impact of Particle Therapy
The Red Journal has just released a new Call for Papers (CFP), “The Impact of Particle Therapy.” All article types will be considered, and the submission deadline is January 15, 2026. Please direct any questions to the editorial office.
 
Reminder: ASTRO seeks comments on systematic review to inform update to the Hypofractionated RT for Localized Prostate Cancer guideline
The Evidence-based Practice Center Program at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has posted the draft report of a systematic review on Hypofractionated Radiation Therapy for Localized Prostate Cancer. We welcome your review and feedback, which will contribute to the review’s relevance and be used as the foundation for ASTRO’s guideline replacement. Review and submit your feedback at the Effective Healthcare website by August 29.
