ASTRO is a supporter of World Radiotherapy Awareness Day (WRAD) each September 7. WRAD is a day dedicated to highlighting the essential role of radiotherapy in treating cancer, relieving symptoms and improving quality of life for patients. The WRAD website has resources for radiation oncology practices who want to participate in raising awareness for their patients and the healthcare community.
