Biographical Statement

I am originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and I am currently a PGY-2 resident at the University of Miami's Sylvester Cancer Center, with an expected graduation in 2028. Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a big Brazilian family, I earned my undergraduate degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Economics and a certificate in Markets & Management from Duke University. I received my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University and pursued a Master of Public Health alongside an MBA with a focus on Health Sector Management from Duke's Fuqua School of Business. Before medical school, I worked at J.P. Morgan and Accenture, which helped shape my systems-based approach to medicine. I have had the opportunity to complete a research fellowship at the University of Miami, as well as research at the NIH and Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, with a particular interest in CNS. In addition to my clinical work, I am deeply committed to advancing mentorship for women within radiation oncology as the Research Chair of the Society for Women in Radiation Oncology. In my free time, I enjoy snowboarding, surfing, and hiking in Colorado.
