Biographical Statement

I’m originally from Anaheim, California. I completed my undergraduate education at Yale University, where I majored in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. I went on to earn my medical degree and a master’s in Population Health Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. After graduation, I remained at WashU/BJC for my preliminary year and into my radiation oncology residency.
What I value most about radiation oncology is the meaningful time I get to spend with patients during consultations, learning about them and supporting them through their cancer journey. As one of the leaders of EISC, I’m excited to grow initiatives like our mentor match program to further integrate public health equity into the field.
In my free time, I enjoy woodworking, experimenting with electronics, and spending quality time with family and friends. Lately, I’ve also picked up playing Rock Band and Guitar Hero with my co-residents.
