Emily Rawn is the Program Manager in the Department of Radiation Oncology at New York University, Langone Health. In her role, she oversees the Medical Residency Program, the Medical Physics Residency Program, the MRL/Brachytherapy Fellowship and the Medical Student Clerkship. Emily obtained her undergraduate degree at NYU and then joined NYU Radiation Oncology as Research Coordinator in 2005. She took on the job of Residency Coordinator in 2008 and has facilitated the growth of the Medical Residency program from six to 10 residents. She’s proud to have aided in the inception of both the Medical Physics Residency Program and the new MRL/Brachytherapy Fellowship. Emily received her C-TAGME certification in 2016. She’s been a member of the Association of Radiation Oncology Program Administrators (AROPA), since its founding and has the honor of taking on the role of AROPA President this Spring of 2026. Having watched the educational programs and department grow exponentially over her 21 years at NYU, she’s in the unique position of getting to advocate for progress while maintaining a depth of institutional knowledge. She’s dedicated to serving her community of learners, while fostering a positive relationship between AROPA and ADROP.
