Apply now: ASTRO-AstraZeneca Industry Fellowship open for proposals
Did you know ASTRO offers unique industry training experiences? The ASTRO-AstraZeneca Radiation Oncology Research Training Fellowship is now accepting proposals through January 10, 2025. This fellowship offers an incredible opportunity for researchers to collaborate with industry leaders and advance their projects. The Resource Corner!
This month’s featured educational resource is a new podcast episode from At the Beam in coordination with ARRO Education Subcommittee highlighting the new ARRO ROCK (RadOnc On Call Handbook). Oral Boards study groups
Need a study group for oral boards prep or know a PGY-6 who does? The ARRO-coordinated oral boards study groups are back! Fill out this form to get matched with a resident or new-attending group; we will ensure the group is appropriate for your studying needs. We will solicit entries until the end of the year, with emails going out to formed groups in January 2025. For questions, email Mustafa Basree, DO, or Shane Neibart, MD.
ASTRO 2025 Call for Education Session Proposals is open
ASTRO’s 67th Annual Meeting will take place September 28 – October 1, 2025, in San Francisco. The meeting theme is Rediscovering Radiation Medicine and Exploring New Indications. Once again, we will offer an in-person conference along with a virtual option to provide flexibility and fit the needs of our members and the radiation oncology community. ASTRO continues to broaden the call for education session proposals to diversify and enrich the Annual Meeting Education Program. You are invited to review the eligibility and session proposal scoring criteria on the ASTRO website. Submitting a session proposal provides an opportunity to share important information, research and insights with colleagues and leaders in the field. If you are interested in participating and sharing your expertise, be sure to fully submit your proposal online via the ASTRO submission site by 11:59 p.m. Pacific time, on Monday, January 6, 2025.

We're thrilled to announce the upcoming ASTRO Residents/Fellows Radiation Oncology Seed Grants, designed to support innovative research projects at their early stages. This year, the funding amount for ASTRO Seed Grants has increased from $25,000 to $50,000. Please check out the Request for Proposals, due February 7, 2025. Check out this informative webinar that covers the application process and other important questions. Don't miss this chance to take your ideas to the next level!
