Patient Videos

ASTRO has created a series of videos to help patients better understand what to expect when receiving radiation therapy for cancer. There is an introductory video, as well as eight disease site specific videos. These videos are available for members to view or embed on their own facility sites. The videos are available for purchase as downloadable files from the ASTRO product catalog.

An Introduction to Radiation Therapy Video

This 26-minute video is a comprehensive overview for patients who are considering radiation therapy as a treatment for their cancer. This video is available for ASTRO members to show to patients to help alleviate some of the fear of undergoing radiation therapy for treatment of their disease.
