Treatment of Non-Metastatic Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer Guideline

    This guideline addresses four areas related to the treatment of muscle-invasive bladder cancer that has not metastasized. It first discusses initial patient evaluation and counseling and then offers recommendations on treatment. The therapies considered included neoadjuvant chemotherapy, radical cystectomy, pelvic lymphadectomy and bladder preserving approaches. The guideline also looks at patient surveillance, follow-up and survivorship and the role of variant histology for management of urothelial carcinoma.
