RO-ILS Enrolled Practices

The mission of RO-ILS: Radiation Oncology Incident Learning System® is to facilitate safe and higher quality care in radiation oncology by providing a mechanism for shared learning in a secure and non-punitive environment. Participation in RO-ILS is free and provides U.S.-based practices access to a secure, web-based portal and the ability to send data to a federally listed patient safety organization (PSO), Clarity PSO.

To receive the protections outlined in the Patient Safety Quality Improvement Act of 2005, interested practices must execute an agreement with Clarity PSO. These contracts can cover multiple facilities, depending on the practice structure. Since the 2014 launch of RO-ILS, more than 240 practices have contracted with Clarity PSO, comprising more than 800 facilities. Thank you to the enrolled RO-ILS practices for supporting this important patient safety initiative.

As of July 2018, more than 100 practices have given Clarity PSO and ASTRO permission to publish their enrollment in the program.

If your practice is enrolled in RO-ILS and wishes to have your name listed, please contact ASTRO staff.

If you are interested in joining RO-ILS, please download the Participation Guide and submit a completed Enrollment Form to Clarity PSO. To learn more, visit the RO-ILS Participation webpage.
