Call for Abstract Reviewers.

ASTRO is seeking volunteer reviewers to evaluate abstract submissions for the 2027 ASTRO Annual Meeting Scientific Program. Reviewers play a critical role in helping identify high-quality scientific content and ensuring a rigorous peer-review process.

The Call for Abstract Reviewers will be open October 26 – November 30, 2026. Individuals who volunteer and are selected to participate will receive an official reviewer invitation in December 2026.

• Call for Reviewers: October 26 – November 30, 2026
• Reviewer Invitations Sent: December 2026
• Abstract Review Period: March 4-21, 2027
• Track Chair/Vice Chair Calls: April 5-16, 2027

• Reviewers must be current ASTRO members.

• Expertise and experience in the selected subject area(s) are encouraged.

Reviewers may volunteer for up to two tracks that best match their areas of expertise. To help ensure a balanced distribution of reviews across all subject areas, please limit your selection to no more than two tracks. See below for list of available tracks.

Reviewer Commitment

Reviewers should be available to participate in the abstract review process during the following timeframe:

• Abstract review site opens: March 4, 2027

• Abstract review deadline: March 21, 2027

In addition, reviewers may be invited to participate in a track discussion call with the Track Chair and Vice Chairs. Track calls are expected to be held between April 5-16, 2027. Additional information regarding reviewer assignments, scoring criteria, and review timelines will be provided to selected reviewers in December.
