Scientific Program

The Scientific Program will include the Plenary, Clinical Trials, Late-breaking Abstract sessions, as well as the popular Science Highlights and Cancer Breakthroughs session.

The Call for Abstracts for AM 2026 is now closed. Notifications of acceptance (including late-breaking shell submissions) will be sent to the presenting author only on May 14, 2026.

  

NEW for 2026!      

The Late-breaking Abstract (LBA) submission process is changing to ensure we are highlighting the very top science at every stage of planning. Late-breaking abstract shell submissions — placeholders for which no data are required — were due on the regular submission deadline of February 24, 2026. 

Notifications of acceptance (including late-breaking shell submissions) will be sent to the presenting author only on May 14, 2026.        

If accepted, data for LBAs will be due on July 10, 2026. No results or conclusions are required for shell abstracts.

Oral Sessions

Oral sessions feature highly rated and impactful scientific abstract presentations with opportunity for question and answers. Explore the Oral Sessions.

Quick Pitch Sessions

Quick Pitch sessions provide opportunities for presenters to summarize outcomes while highlighting key takeaways from their research in a fast-paced format to present concise takeaways. Moderators engage the audience during the general question and answer section. See the Quick Pitch schedule.

Science Highlights

Science Highlights sessions spotlight four to six of the most clinically relevant abstracts within each track. Each session will feature a Discussant to present the abstracts. The Discussant will compare and contrast the current data to help attendees digest the latest science, place the study into context and describe how the study can be put into clinical practice, if recommended.
