BONUS: All medical students are invited to join the remaining ARRO Day sessions.
Designed specifically for medical students, this fast-paced session offers a unique opportunity to explore the field of radiation oncology through rapid, small-group conversations with residents and early- to mid-career radiation oncologists. Participants will gain candid, practical insights on the topics that matter most—residency training, research years, away rotations, signaling, interviews and navigating the application process. In just one hour, hear multiple perspectives, ask your questions and walk away with a clearer understanding of the field and your next steps.
Table topics will be announced in June.
The Aspiring Scientists and Physicians Program offers high school, undergraduate and medical students the opportunity to learn about the radiation oncology field. This event is comprised of interactive panel discussions in which students meet radiation oncology faculty, residency program directors, medical physicists, residents and peers who are on a similar journey, providing many opportunities for mentorship.
The workshop is free to any students registered for the Annual Meeting a seperate registration required. The deadline to register for the workshop is Friday, September 11.
