Levy Restaurants has exclusive food and beverage distribution rights within the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center. Exhibitors may distribute SAMPLE food or non-alcoholic beverage products with advanced written authorization ONLY.
General Conditions:
- Any food sampling must adhere to Levy Restaurant's guidelines and be approved by the City of Boston.
- Exhibitor must be the manufacturer or manufacturer’s representative of the product to be sampled.
- All items distributed are limited to sample sizes:
- Food items: 2 oz. or less
- Non-alcoholic beverages: 4 oz. or less
- Alcoholic beverages must be obtained through Levy appointed distributors
All sample food and beverage items are required by the Boston Health Department to have a temporary Health Permit. Levy Restaurants must process all applications.
- Exhibitor must provide Levy Restaurants with a Certificate of Insurance showing evidence of Commercial General Liability with each occurrence limit of $1,000,000 and naming Levy Premium Foodservice Limited Partnership and Massachusetts Convention Center Authority as additional insured.
- Exhibitor must provide a copy of their Health License from the town and state the permit is held in.
- Exhibitor must complete the Sampling Authorization Form and Temporary Food Application in its entirety and return to Levy Restaurants.
- Any food and beverage items brought on the premises without the Written Authorization from Levy Restaurants, the MCEC and ASTRO show management is strictly prohibited.
- Standard fees for storage, handling, delivery, etc. will be charged where applicable.
- Food and beverage items used as traffic promoters (i.e., coffee, bottled waters, sodas, bar service, etc.) MUST be purchased from Levy Restaurants.
