The 2026 Multidisciplinary Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Symposium gives you the opportunity to earn continuing education credits.

Credit Evaluation Information


Access your certificate of attendance. ​

To claim continuing education credits, the credit evaluation must be completed in the ASTRO Academy by March 23, 2026, using the steps below.
  • Log into the ASTRO Academy using the email address and password used to register for the Symposium.
    • If you don't know your password, please use the Forgot Password button below the login prompt.
  • In the ASTRO Academy, click My Activities in the menu at the top and then the Pending Activities tab.
  • Select the 2026 Multidisciplinary Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Symposium Credit Evaluation in your pending activities list.
  • Follow the instructions for your designation to complete the evaluation to claim credits.

Physicians
The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Live Symposium (In person/Virtual): ASTRO designates this live course activity for a maximum of 13.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Physicists
An application will be submitted to the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) for 13.25 Medical Physics Continuing Education Credits (MPCEC).

Certificates of Credit

Physicians 
Physician attendees can access, print and save their certificate of credit in the ASTRO Academy. Physician attendees will have online access to their certificate upon completion of the credit evaluation by the deadline.

Physicists 
Physicist attendees will not receive certificates of credit from ASTRO. The names of physicist attendees who complete the credit evaluation in the ASTRO Academy by the deadline will be sent to CAMPEP 45 days after the symposium.

Advanced Practice Providers 
While CME credits are not available to non-physician attendees directly from ASTRO, ASTRO can provide a certificate of attendance with the AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ statement along with the transcript of sessions attended and the credit amounts for those sessions.

Program Description
The 2026 Multidisciplinary Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Symposium is a two-day meeting featuring interactive and case-based educational sessions that focus on the evolving utilization of and advancements in radiopharmaceuticals in the treatment of cancer and other indications. The program will include oral abstract presentations showcasing recent clinical and translational research, program models and best practices as well as digital poster sessions, clinical trials in progress and a robust multidisciplinary educational agenda dedicated to the evolving field of radiopharmaceutical therapy (RPT).
Program Objectives

Upon completion of this live activity, attendees should be able to do the following:

  • Understand the business case for starting a radiopharmaceutical therapy program.
  • Design effective multidisciplinary coordination pathways between nuclear medicine, oncology, urology, endocrinology, radiology, and referring providers to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Identify best practices in revenue cycle management specific to theranostics, including managing prior authorizations and payer communication.
  • Develop and apply continuous audit and quality assessment processes to monitor program success, compliance and operational improvements.
  • Recognize emerging considerations such as staffing models, training needs and patient experience metrics that contribute to long-term program sustainability.
  • Understand basic radiobiological principles of various forms of radiopharmaceuticals. 
  • Discuss complex cases and clinical challenges in radiopharmaceutical therapy and how to best utilize current knowledge for decision making.
  • Identify clinical indications and therapy-specific management for RPTs that are currently approved for clinical use.
  • Outline the regulatory requirements and application process to obtain AU status.
  • Describe the basic principles of RPT dosimetry. 
Elements of Competence

This educational forum has been designed to narrow the competency gaps of: patient care, medical knowledge, practice-based learning and improvement, interpersonal skills and communication, professionalism, systems-based practice, patient-centered care, work in interdisciplinary teams, employing evidence-based practice, applying quality improvement, utilizing informatics, commitment to lifelong learning, cognitive expertise, evaluation of performance in practice, roles/responsibilities, interprofessional communication and teams and teamwork.

These are 17 of the 19 core competencies embraced by the American Board of Medical Specialties, the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, the Institute of Medicine, the American Board of Radiology and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.

Target Audience

This meeting was designed to meet the interests of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, physicists, nurses, diagnostic radiologists,  radiation therapists, radiation dosimetrists, specialists, nuclear physicians and practice administrators.
