Attendee Preparation

Below is useful information to help you prepare for traveling to and experiencing the 2023 Multidisciplinary Thoracic Cancers Symposium.

The full text of the abstracts selected for presentation is available on the meeting website and all abstracts are published in the February 1, 2024, issue of the International Journal of Radiation Oncology · Biology · Physics

All abstracts are embargoed and remain confidential until Thursday, November 30 at 8:00 a.m. Mountain time. If you have any questions about the embargo policy, please contact ASTRO’s Media Relations Manager, Liz Gardner, by email or at 703-286-1600.

Age Requirements for Attendees

Because of the nature of the programs and forums, no one under the age of 18 will be admitted to any official ASTRO function without first being registered by their parent or guardian. Children and caregivers will need to be registered at the on-site registration counter.

Strollers, baby carriers or similar devices are permitted in meeting rooms and the exhibit hall as long as they do not block aisles or emergency exits. Parents/guardians who bring children into meeting sessions, exhibit hall, or any other meeting functions or areas are asked to help maintain a professional, disturbance-free environment. Children must be supervised at all times.

All attendees must adhere to the attendee policies.
