Doctor groups ask Congress for urgent fix to reverse Medicare cuts |
ASTRO joined numerous groups urging Congress to take action to reverse the payment cut in any FY 2024 legislation passed in the coming weeks. Nonetheless, Congress is likely to extend a government funding deadline into March without addressing cuts that started January 1. Visit astro.org/advocate to tell Congress to stop the cuts. |
ASTRO-BCRF Emerging Investigator – Deadline extended to January 31 |
The ASTRO-BCRF Emerging Investigator Award aims to empower early career researchers in breast radiation oncology who identify with underrepresented populations in the U.S. biomedical, clinical, behavioral and social sciences research. Eligible applicants are those who self-identify as members of underrepresented populations defined by NIH. Details are available on ASTRO’s Funding Opportunities webpage. |
