Our Around the Globe series looks at the how the practice of radiation oncology is different around the world based on reimbursement and culture challenges. The Oncology Scan feature looks at the vast landscape of oncology literature and summarizes what's happening in certain areas. For example, one Oncology Scan looks at quality of life for early-stage lung cancer using surgery and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) while another looks at the role of the human papillomavirus (HPV) in head and neck cancersCritical reviews are also segmented out for readers interested in this excellent over views of recent topics. Last but certainly not least is the excellent contributions of artists in radiation oncology whose artwork have graced the cover of the journal.
