The role of post-operative radiation therapy for endometrial cancer

    This guideline provides recommendations on five key questions regarding adjuvant radiation therapy for endometrial cancer with an endometrioid histology. First, it addresses which patients do not need additional therapy after surgery. Next, the document considers which patients should receive post-operative vaginal cuff brachytherapy, external beam radiation therapy and both together. Last, it discusses how radiation therapy and chemotherapy should be integrated in managing endometrial cancer.
