This guideline addresses five key questions related to appropriate use of RT in the definitive and adjuvant settings for locally advanced NSCLC. First, it looks at ideal radical RT dose fractionation for radiotherapy alone and for chemoradiation. In addition, the document considers ideal timing of radical radiotherapy with systemic chemotherapy. Last, it makes recommendations regarding indications for postoperative adjuvant RT and preoperative neoadjuvant RT.
