Notice: ASTRO 2021 grant application due date extension for applicants whose main affiliated institutions are based in the State of Texas

In response to the U.S. government declaration (as of February 2021) of the existence of a major disaster in the State of Texas, ASTRO announces 2021 grant application due date adjustments.

Effective immediately, the new due dates for applicants whose main affiliated institutions (defined as the institutions where the applicants currently are and will be located physically for the majority of the proposed project periods) are based in the State of Texas are now:

  • March 5, 2021, 11:59 p.m. ET, for the “2021 ASTRO-AAPM Physics Residents/Postdoctoral Fellow Seed Grant (Physics Seed),” “2021 ASTRO Residents/Fellows in Radiation Oncology Seed Grant,” and “2021 ASTRO Residents/Fellows in Radiation Oncology Biology Seed Grant”
  • March 12, 2021, 11:59 p.m. ET, for the “2021 ASTRO-BCRF Career Development Award” and “2021 ASTRO-PCF Career Development Award”

The general due date for all other applicants remains February 26, 2021, 11:59 p.m. ET.
