A new grant program for small businesses was launched by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) that will focus on assisting the economic recovery of businesses owned socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The $100 million Community Navigator Pilot Program will specifically target small businesses owned by people of color, women, veterans, and those in rural communities.
The SBA will accept applications for the program through July 12, 2021, and plans to make award decisions by August 2021. For more information on the program and how to apply, visit the SBA website.
